Hi Leigh,
I read your blog; I found it very interesting. I was born with one arm, so I can, to some degree, relate to how you feel. I always think of my congenital abnormality as God's way of making "perfect" people in imperfected bodies/shells. I think people like you and I are specially chosen to make a difference in this world. We are to be God's soldiers. I have a beautiful daughter, obtaining a Master's Degree and I plan to attend Medical School for Psychiatry. I am also heavily involved in organizations to help those in need for a variety of mental and physical disorders and issues. I am glad that I was born "different" because I feel special and honored to be able to understand things that 80% of people will never be able to fathom. I am very sorry for the loss of your limb and if I could give me mine, I would. I really believe that everything happens for a reason and that God never closes one door without opening another. Glod Bless you and your family. Cheers.
