For my trip to Iraq (July 9 - 19), our group of 5 is blogging on a GROUP BLOG. This way, you can hear about this trip from all of us. I hope you enjoy it!!
Our pastor spoke on Psalm 23 today. Tonight I sent him your comments from Paul's funeral. I love what you said about God preparing a table before you in the presence of your enemies. Very few people have that perspective on that verse. I hope God is allowing you to be a blessing this week on your trip.
Terrill & Leigh-Following Leigh's amazing journey and praying for your crew today. I hear there were several Saxon sightings at Six Flags a couple of weeks ago...all from knowing you from your blog (I talked a bunch about you in my SS class). My favorite Paul memory is the first time I met him. I had contacted Leigh to bring a meal to the hospital (chicken enchiladas!) during one of many stays. I had brought Paul one of those airplane parachute men and he would go up to the 3rd floor and launch that man over and over while Leigh and I talked in the atrium. Though I was a stranger to him, he made me feel like I was his best friend! Seems like he had that effect on many folks! I can only imagine today is difficult...remembering you in prayer.
